Martinez Rotary Partners with Las Juntas Elementary to Support Students and School Community

Martinez Rotary is proud to announce a new partnership with Las Juntas Elementary PTA, centered on investing in students, strengthening educational opportunities, and supporting a vibrant school community.

Through this partnership, Martinez Rotary is expanding access to STEM education at Las Juntas Elementary in collaboration with New Leaf Collaborative, helping bring hands on science and enrichment programming directly to students. In addition, Rotary funding is supporting field trips across all grade levels, ensuring that every student has access to meaningful off campus learning experiences that complement classroom instruction.

Recognizing the day to day needs of the school, Martinez Rotary has also invested in much needed school supplies, helping ensure students and teachers have the resources they need to succeed. Beyond academics, the partnership includes support for campus beautification efforts and school wide community events, including the upcoming Las Juntas Carnival on May 15.

Martinez Rotary Co-President Peggy Huston and Treasurer Beth Ames had the opportunity to attend a Las Juntas PTA meeting to formally announce the partnership and connect with school leadership and parent volunteers. The meeting highlighted the shared values between Rotary and Las Juntas PTA — service, collaboration, and a deep commitment to students.
