What we do
These are just some of club's our proud accomplishments. We also keep busy with parties (there's always something to celebrate!), fellowship activities & fundraising events with other Rotary clubs, and lots of other projects.
- Volunteered 1000 hours on various fundraising and charitable projects
- Hosted the first annual Carquinez Century Bike Ride, raising over $4000 for the Martinez Rotary Foundation
- Raised over $1000 with the first annual Martinez Community Shredding Event
- Hosted the district-wide June Joust Bocce Tournament, raising money for the Rotary International Foundation
- Raised money by hosting the Christmas in November and Wine Drawing events
- Hosted an Agua Nicaragua fundraising wine tasting event with other District clubs
- Provided books to the Juvenile Hall Library
- Sent 2 students to Camp Royal
- Delivered 780 Meals on Wheels meals to Martinez residents
- Delivered 6200 pounds of food for White Pony Express
- Through Shelter Inc., adopted 3 families at Christmas, providing gifts and cash cards for food
- Through Shelter Inc., provided and prepared 10 dinners to feed 40+ individuals
- Supported the Alhambra High School Rotary Interact Club and their activities
- Provided and prepared a pasta dinner for the Martinez Education Foundation – served 100+
- Maintained Pennies from Heaven jars at local businesses
- Participated in and provided the “survivor breakfast” at Relay for Life
- Raised money by pouring wine at the Blues by the Bay Concert and the John Muir Elementary School PTA fundraiser
- Assisted with the John Muir Elementary School Field Day
- Won First Prize for Service Organization in the Martinez 4th of July Parade
